BNY Mellon strengthens digital position
April 9, 2019

BNY Mellon today announced that it has appointed Alina Peradze as Digital Business Development Leader, Janelle Prevost as Client Journey Reimagination Leader, and Michael Demissie as Advanced Digital Solutions Leader.

It says these senior appointments are part of the overarching strategy to digitize the organization. All three report to Roman Regelman, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Digital for BNY Mellon, and will be based in New York, effective immediately.

Their combined experience and expertise will further accelerate BNY Mellon's digital future as it reimagines the end-to-end client journey and launch new digital offerings, says Regelman. "Our clients' needs demand that we deliver the very best digital experience and innovation," he adds. "Our growing bench of digital talent will sharpen and unlock even more value in a constantly changing, disruptive environment."

Peradze is responsible for building and launching new digital businesses. She joins from Saga Group Inc where she held the role of CEO, and managed strategy projects and invested in early stage private companies

Prevost spearheads the bank's efforts to rethink how it delivers differentiated capabilities for its clients and maximize end-to-end value. She joins from BlackRock where she worked on their digital transformation.

Demissie leads a newly established enterprise-level capability to define a strategic approach and build out and deploy assets around artificial intelligence, robotics, machine learning and related techniques. He joins from State Street where he held the role of Global Lead for Robotics/Artificial Intelligence and Head of Lean Management Office and led a global programme that leveraged emerging technologies to drive transformation.
